Cruises
Antigua is a very popular stop for cruise liners and so it was no strange thing to see four or five different liners
berthed in any one day. Of course, when they berth right next to the Logos II, we suddenly see just how small we are.
Even so, we know that God is in control and that... precious things come in small packages!
Easter Church team
During our time in Antigua we were able to go on an extended Church team over the Easter weekend.
On the Saturday night we went to the church, based in a school building to do a program for their youth.
This was a good time to interact with them and get to know them. One young man was very interested
in joining the ship and was also very keen to learn some new skills to help in his witness to friends.
On Easter Sunday we were with the church for breakfast, the service and lunch afterwards.
We gave a presentation about the ship and a 'resurrection drama' as requested by the pastor.
It is always a great opportunity to visit different churches, especially on special occasions, to share with them
and see firsthand how God is working in the lives of those all around the world.
We really are one big family.
Family time
Family time is always special and even more so when there is good icecream to enjoy as well. Just outside the
port entrance was a very nice (if a bit expensive) Australian Icecream shop. Yum!
