Grenada

We were in Grenada leading a team of 10 from the 1st - 8th November. We were working with an OM team from Barbados and others to help unfortunate people in Grenada after hurricane Ivan swepped through in September.

Being involved in building houses for people who lost them to the storm and repairing roofs was a good experience. We were disapointed with the amount of work we did during the week because of lots heavy rain and problems with transport but the team worked as hard as they could.

Kathryn only worked for half the week as she went ill with a bacterial stomach infection which we took her to the hospital for.

We will be returning to Grenada in 10 days where we will meet up with the teams there again and 120 people from the ship will be involved in aid and ministry teams.

Please pray for the line up team working to organise the work for when we arrive on the 22nd November; its not an easy job!
