Beverwijk and Dordrecht

Two ports in Holland: Beverwijk and Dordrecht saw many opportunities to encourage the churches to be united in serving God. The 60 new recruits joined the ship. Teams went out and worked with people on the streets and those with drug and alcohol problems.

Two of the crew met a homeless man during their two-day break from the ship. This man gave his life to Christ and subsequently visited the ship and was encouraged in his new life. We have since heard that he is doing well and has gone home to Ireland to start a new life.
