After the poverty of the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, seeing Starbucks across the the street from teh ship was a welcoemd sight although prices there mean that ship crew can go there rarely.

The Donors weekend saw 102 people from American and other countries come on board to be introduced to the ship’s ministry. They all enjoyed their time and this was reflected in the generousity of their hearts as around $2m was collected for the Logos Hope.

Every participant at the donor weekend went away with a souvenier designed by the program manager and put together by kathryn.

Kathryn has been busy writing and designing a leaflet to be given out at the gangway as people leave the ship. 130,000 copies will be printed.
