Nigeria

6th January to 23rd January.

Nigeria as expected was busy with large numbers of people coming to the ship each day and buying books in large quantities. Over 50% of all sales were Bibles and Christian books. Many of the visitors were able to stand and listen to gospel presentations from the stage in front of the ship.

Pastors Seminar

In Nigeria we had two weeks of 3-day leader’s seminars onboard. Steve was involved both weeks and was given time off from the book fair the second week to help full time as a table trainer. Over 30 pastors and Christian workers participated. The seminars were kept to small groups for the purposes of group discussion. Colin Phelps from OM South Africa lead the team and ran most of the sessions. The themes of the sessions included basic bible study methods, the Church and Aids and servant leadership.
